Filament Coding is a speculative design project developed in partnership with UBS, exploring how digital fabrication and parametric coding can redefine the production of new building materials for architectural applications.
The project sits at the intersection of material research, computational design, and strategic foresight. Working with filament-based fabrication processes, the project investigated how emerging manufacturing technologies could generate material behaviours that are not yet possible through conventional production.
For UBS, the work served as a design-led exploration of future-oriented thinking, using speculative objects and material prototypes to open conversations about innovation, risk, and possibility in the built environment.
